Festivizing Irish Style

Today, I am making the annual pilgrimage to Muskegon, MI for the Michigan Irish Festival.

It’s raining and thundering outside.

And I couldn’t care less.

We Irish Americans band together in the worst of times, and it makes the good times that much better. A little pre-autumn rain on St. Practice Day (half a year away from St. Patrick’s Day) doesn’t hinder our festive spirit one little bit.

I look forward to kissing the Great Bill Quinn – even if it’s under the tent – with even more love than last year!

Slainte!
